There are a few ways I am selling my work at the moment. There is a store on this site, a link to my Etsy shop below, and you can request a commission by shooting me an email. More information on custom work is below.

Here’s the process of how this works:

  1. You will tell me what you want, I’ll ask questions and we will settle on a price and content. If necessary, I might send you sketches of the final layout for your review.

  2. I’ll send you an invoice for the project, you will review and confirm or we will re-negotiate.

  3. I do the art! If this is a scientific work, I will review with you the polished drawing before rendering in the final medium.

  4. Once it is finished, I will contact you. Payment is due at this time. Some people tip me, but this is completely optional and I don’t expect it by any means. It is a question I get all the time, and while obviously appreciated, not required.

Here are the choices you will need to make when you request custom work.

  • Pick the size

    Regardless of medium, I’ll need to know the size you want. Canvases and ink-specific boards come in a huge variety of sizes, but here are the standard sizes of paper I have available to get you started. I’m happy to use a custom size as well!

  • Choose The Subject(s)

    What do you want in it? Do you want a background? Is that background detailed? How many subjects are going to be in the work? Do you want that subject to be just a head portrait or full body? All of these questions help me quote you the right price for my time.

  • What Medium do you prefer?

    My main mediums are ink, acyclic painting, watercolor painting, gouache painting, colored pencil (sometimes combined with other mediums), and graphite drawing. Does that list intimidate you? That’s fine, I can choose for you, just tell me which of my existing works appeal to you.

  • Preferred Style

    Tell me which of my exisiting pieces are similar to your vision. Do you want color or grayscale? Careful detail or implied shapes?

  • Do you have any colors you want me to inlcude?

    Got an accent color in your house you want reflected? Have a favorite color you can’t live without? I’ll do my best to include what you want.

  • Budget

    Do you have a certain amount you want to spend? A max? If my quote is too high for you, I might suggest prints of my work.
